Cernunnos and Herne are often linked because they are both horned gods associated with nature, the hunt, and fertility, with some theories suggesting Herne is a localised or later manifestation of Cernunnos.

Cernunnos is a Celtic deity, while Herne is a figure in English folklore, particularly associated with Windsor Forest and the "Wild Hunt".

While Cernunnos is the older and more widespread Celtic god, Herne is a specific English legend.
